Tsutomu is the Executive Director of Investor Relations at Fivestar Mezzanine, a position he has held since July 2024. He is responsible for developing relationships with and raising capital from overseas investors.
Before joining Fivestar Mezzanine, Tsutomu spent 15 years at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance, where he was responsible for LP investments in various alternative assets, including private equity, private debt, and infrastructure equity. Previously, he spent 8 years at FSA, a U.S. monoline insurer, where he primarily focused on investments in securitization deals in New York.
Tsutomu began his career at Mizuho Bank (formerly Fuji Bank) in 1988, where he was mainly responsible for syndicated loans and project finance in Hong Kong.
He holds a BA from Keio University and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
