Frederik brings over 15 years of research, operational, and investment experience in climate technologies across Asia, Europe, and the US. As a founding member of Brawn Capital, a private equity fund manager specializing in renewable energy, he served as Director of Investments & Risk Management, overseeing a portfolio of solar assets throughout Asia. He also played a key role in a joint venture with Macquarie to build a solar asset portfolio in Japan. During his time at Brawn, Frederik connected with Li Tan and Toby Chan, the founders of Audacy, a Hong Kong-based asset manager investing at the intersection of Climate, Energy, and Technology. In 2023, Frederik joined Audacy as Head of Science and a member of the investment team, enhancing the team’s technology due diligence capabilities and identifying emerging technology trends across Audacy’s focus areas: energy efficiency, transportation, and industrial decarbonization.
