Mr. Samuel Tse joined DBS as an Economist since 2017. Mr. Tse is responsible for monitoring the macroeconomic conditions of China and Hong Kong. Prior to joining DBS Bank, Mr. Tse was an economist at the Financial Secretary Office of the Hong Kong Government. At DBS, he regularly conducts economic/investment seminars for institutional clients, private banking clients, as well as internal staffs.

As a specialist on the Chinese and Hong Kong economy, Mr. Tse provides his professional comments on financial issues regularly on TV channels including Bloomberg, Deutsche Welle, Channel NewsAsia and Cable TV. He also actively shares his views on various print media like Reuters, Hong Kong Economic Journal, and Hong Kong Economic Times.

Mr. Tse graduated from the University of Warwick with a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies. He also holds a Master Degree in Public Policy from Peking University.
