Kunihiko Morishita is a senior partner of Anderson Mori & Tomotsune with nearly 40 years of experience in domestic and international banking, securities, investment funds and asset management.

Mr. Morishita has been recognized as a leading lawyer by numerous publications, including International Financial Law Review and Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers. He was also named “Lawyer of the Year” for Financial Institution Regulatory Law in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in Japan.

Mr. Morishita has extensive experience representing leading financial institutions and investment management companies before the Financial Services Agency and other Japanese regulatory authorities. He regularly advises multinational financial institutions, both within and outside Japan, on complex regulatory issues relating to securities, trusts and asset management.
